The Client

With each issue focusing on an aspect of the Nola area— food, music, culture, or neighborhoods—NOLA Magazine is the premier quarterly publication about New Orleans, LA.

The Design

Keeping in mind the magazine’s demographic of twenty-year-old to forty-year-old locals and visitors, an original masthead was created featuring hand-drawn typography and a fleur de lys image to reflect a combination of vintage and urban styles that is so prevalent in New Orleans. Issues for a complete year were developed and featured covers combining engaging photographic images and unique typography forming a compelling set of publications.
